Maybe It’s not my place to say since I’m not ace (Still questioning but pretty sure I’m not); but when asexual people say they don’t want to have sex because they’re asexual, you don’t have to remind them that some asexuals still choose to have sex, and are sex neutral or sex positive. They probably already know, they don’t need to explain themselves in more detail. They’ve given a valid explanation that that’s an aspect of their asexuality and they don’t need to elaborate on it if they don’t want to. I would hate to need to elaborate on my gender or sexuality as much as sex averse asexuals are expected to talk about theirs.
